So this is impetigo. I thought impetigo was something they got in the dark ages and the only time I’ve ever really heard the word was in a kids show where they are calling names and one says impetigo and then the other says smart-alec. I think it’s from Antsilvania.
So after 24 hours on the antibiotic Zoya was feeling awesome and was very silly. It was wonderful to see her smile again.
But I’ve noticed her gums are also swollen and bleeding, so I’m in bad mommy mood. He was so much better at brushing her teeth and stuff like that.
The chin seems to be drying out, so hopefully it will all be a little better tomorrow. I’m glad she has her smile back, but I’m so ready to have her whole.
