Yesterday was a perfect day. It was both restful and full of accomplishments. We focused on articulating what we wanted to do and complimenting each other. It wasn’t a plan we talked about before hand, but it became clear as the day progressed.
It started with Shah actually waking up before I did and making coffee because he was afraid the power would go out. This new coffee love is definitely a shared thing.
Then the rest of the day went like this..
Would you watch Zoya while I make breakfast?
Would you watch Zoya while I work out?
Would you watch Zoya while I work on caligraphy?
Would you watch Zoya while I put stickers all over the house (learning farsi)?
Would you watch Zoya while I make yogurt?
Would you watch Zoya while I use our Dollar Tree baskets to rearrange the bathroom cabinets?
The watching Zoya was at least as fun as the projects.
Snow days are the best.
