Losing Your Mind, Losing Your Eyesight, and Growing Old

Hair dye round 2

So, well, Thursday I decided I HAD to dye my hair. There was no reason to get my nails done or anything while I had all these grey roots showing. So we took Parks n Rec break and I went to dye my hair.

I had to take off my glasses so they didn’t get dye on them and I mixed the dye with the base. It was easier than normal, but no red flags. It didn’t come out of the container as easily, but no red flags. When I finished I put the glasses back on and was surprised to find no black marks on my arms or shower floor, that was odd, but still nothing.

It never registered that it didn’t stink or itch. Thirty minutes later I go to rinse it out and it came out so easily, so I reach to grab the after-dye conditioner and oops. It’s the dye. I’ve just wasted 30 minutes sitting there with conditioner in my hair and it is soft, but not one bit less grey.

Isn’t growing old a hoot?!

You know your growing older when : you start needing more lines in your glasses, you find yourself saying “what?” More, certain bodily functions don’t work so good anymore (buurrp, faarrt), and there is one more, but I can’t seem to remember what it is… Hehe.
