In Christ Alone – Lyrics

What do you write on a day that you go to a friend’s funeral?  What am I supposed to say?  Today I have no words, but those of the song we sang today

I pray the Lord will bring comfort to her friends and family. She was the first person who reacted to the news that I was getting married to someone who was then living in Istanbul with excitement and joy. I will always be grateful for that. She knew how to rejoice with those who rejoice, and now we mourn with those who mourn her loss, while rejoicing that she is now enjoying everlasting life.

Christ alone my hope is found;
He is my light, my strength, my song;
