She is more and more amazing every day. She is finally starting to make noises that are more pleasant than grunts and cries. She can lift her head during tummy time though she usually doesn’t until she gets tired of tummy time and wants to get up.
But the most amazing thing is her tiny laugh. she finds one thing really funny. It’s when I say mamamamama. Nothing else is as likely to make her smile.
She also has more and more expressions. All these and more came because she had a clean diaper.
But her most common face, especially when there is anything new or interesting around is the astonished, amazed, frightened face.
I have a lot of free time. Some days I organize closets and bake triffles.
But a lot of days I lay on the couch with the baby on my chest and snap photos.
And it’s hard to wrap my brain around it, but the days holding her are just as important, if not more important than the days organizing a new project. I always find my what I do. But I really just need to be the person I was created to be, which right now is a person who loves holding her baby and snuggling with her husband and being outside.
