Grief

Fearless

My child has no fear, well except for the blender and people walking in the front door when she isn’t expecting it. She is bold and brave. And this is the child who used to be afraid of dogwood trees, and basically all trees and bushes. Now she just goes. At the beach, once she got comfortable, she didn’t even check in with me. Tonight she spent the first 20 minutes walking in a circle from the shore to the water, sometimes getting deeper, sometimes getting close to where I sat watching, but every single circle she said bye bye to me as she turned to walk away.
And then, after hundreds of circles and bye-byes, she just started walking and away she went.
