While I was driving to work yesterday I heard the comment from someone that they wanted Christmas to be more about L O V E that about S A L E. I couldn’t agree more.
Something just doesn’t feel right about Christmas this year and I can’t blame the weather. Christmas really isn’t about that other 4 letter word, C O L D or even S N O W.
You would think that this year it would be easy to get into the Christmas spirit, with a new baby at the house, but it just feels like something is missing. I keep doing the advent thing in spits and spurts, which is wonderful.
But something is missing and I want it to be about more than just the weather. How do they do it in Florida?
I am a little out numbered in the house this year. The baby has no Christmas experience, due to her recent birth and the husband has only one year of Christmas experience.
Shared traditions take time and we only have one set of chaotic traditions to pull from.
Does anyone have any traditions for a family of less than 10 that they want to share?
