One day into December, I have so far managed to at least follow the Advent Scripture writing plan.
But Thanksgiving weekend, brought an exciting early Christmas present. I was actually so excited, I didn’t have to act excited. I was bouncing and laughing and really as excited as my Nephew Henry when he thought he was going to get to live on Noah’s Ark.
My husband didn’t realize it, but his gift kind of followed a weekend theme of rediscovering old hobbies.
It started with our traditional after Christmas gun shooting. I’ve been out of town the last few years so I’d kind of forgotten what an adrenaline rush the big guns were.
And if hobbies can have opposites, my next dabbling in old hobbies was to take Zoya shopping for cross stitching kits.
Yeah. What the heck is right. I don’t have a clue why, but I’ve been totally in the mood to cross stitch.
