Seeking God in the Digital Age Jude 1:20-21

Do we fully understand the calling with which we were called? It is a call to holiness. It is a call to seek after the face of God from the moment our eyes open in the light of a new dawn

I’m awake before everyone else knowing I need to spend some time with the Lord. I’m feeling at a loss for how to proceed, so I go to my trusty bible gateway verse of the day, which somehow strikes a chord with my heart and yet sounds like gibberish to my head. So I Google the verse with devotional and come across the above quoted and linked article. I guess this is seeking God in the electronic age. I’ve never thought about searching for God so literally. And the clues of the article echoing the the voice the in my heart telling me to seek Him in the morning, tell me I’m on the right path.
But this seeking is not a quick, instant thing, even in this digital age. It required putting the phone down and meditating on this verse, speaking to God and letting him speak to me. I hope they keep sleeping a little longer, because I need this, I need Him today.
