I loved our Christmas tree last year. I was totally impressed with our effort of obtaining and setting up and decorating a tree. But we have a 7 month old who is about to start crawling and a daddy who is slowly adjusting to the fact that we cannot keep her in a sanitized, corner-free, soft and tear free world. Plus we are on a very strict, written on the wall, budget, and don’t want to spend our grocery money, since grocery shopping is our favorite pastime. So no tree for us this year.
Plus, so far, I can’t find our lights, so we are lighting with candles.
But we found a new way to display ornaments and I don’t feel like we are missing out at all.
