So this book I’m reading was talking about “slow food” and food presentation as a way to slow down and live intentionally. So I stacked stacked the mozzarella, basil, and tomato…
But I’m not sure it achieved any great sense of slowness or savoring.
If it did cause me to slow down, it certainly wasn’t lasting since I walked out the door without a shirt on this morning. It’s a sure sign I’m running in the very distracted rat race, when I forgot to dress. My mind was on my full schedule at work as I walked out the door and suddenly I felt sunlight on bare skin.
That would definitely never happen to my slower moving husband.
